Setup

On in five minutes.

Nothing to install. You need a WaliChat account with a connected number, and Claude on the web, the desktop app or the terminal.

Create an API key
In WaliChat, open Developers → API keys and create a key only Claude will use.
Add a custom connector
In Claude, add a custom connector with this address and no sign-in. In an organisation, an owner adds it.
Switch it on in a chat
Open a new chat, turn WaliChat on from the chat menu and ask about your inbox.

Treat the address like a password. It carries your key. If it leaks, delete the key and create another.

Using Claude Code? Add the server with claude mcp add and send your key in an Authorization header instead of the address.

Connect a number first. The key works once your account has at least one WhatsApp number connected.
