Setup

Connected in five minutes.

Nothing to install. You need a WaliChat account with a connected number and ChatGPT with developer mode.

  1. Create an API key

    In WaliChat, open Developers → API keys and create a key just for ChatGPT, so you can delete it on its own.

  2. Add WaliChat in ChatGPT

    Turn on developer mode, create an app with this address and choose No authentication. The key travels in the address.

  3. Ask about your inbox

    In a new chat, pick WaliChat from the tools menu and ask something you would check by hand.

Check this first. Developer mode is not on every ChatGPT plan, and in a work account an admin has to allow it.

Treat the address like a password. It carries your key. If it leaks, delete the key and create a new one.

Building your own agent? OpenAI's API can call the same server with the key in a header instead.
